Drawn whilst talking to Pru.
I feel a little stuck tonight. Not stuck betwixt spiderwebs, or enveloped by some form of deadly treacle. But, stuck within myself. It's most perplexing.. I wish I knew how this feeling came about.
I'm writing to Thibault again. Thibault brings me great comfort, but I always leave the wretched door open and then great heaviness makes his way in too. I'm not sure which is worst; to be with, or to be without.
I suppose it needn't matter. I doubt that this worry shall still belong to me in the morning.

Bear Bonaparte is having to wait a small while. I started a new drawing project at art school and I'm irretrievably lost in it. But I promise not to forget.

p.s,
A tiny book that I made for Rosianna,

what is your favorite elliott smith song?
honestly, I can't choose.
the first one I listened to was "Twilight" -- but every one of them is so, so lovely.

Ow, it's impossible to choose, yes.
Perhaps the easy answer would be 'Angeles'. But truly I'd like to pick the 'XO' album in it's entirety.
And his recording of 'All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down' from Live at Largo makes me ludicrously happy. This is far too hard.

I feel stuck too... like between two pages of a story. I can't go back because I've already been there but I can't go forward either because the page won't turn.

What a lovely book. you are a lovely friend. :)

I love your book: beautiful and dreamy.

Your blog is so incredibly stunning. As some of the others already said, it feels like a dream. But not one of my dreams, because not even my dreams are as beautiful as your blog.
Every new blog entry is like Christmas for me. I start jumping up and down in my seat and can just forget about the world for a few minutes, which is really relaxing.
I do not know much about art (but I still love it), but even somebody who does not know anything about art should be able to recognize your huge talent.
I'm sorry if this all sounds a little idiotic but I tried to put a little beauty into my articulation, just as you do. But it's quite hard for me, especially as I'm from Germany. But I'm trying my best. :)

I'm really looking forward to your next blog entry ... gosh, how I which I could be a little bit like you someday. This might sound a little bit stalkerish but I didn't mean it, of course.

Greetings :)
Vanessa

first off, i love the books. it gives me such inspiration to go home and attempt to make my own, although i am almost certain that mine would be nothing compared to yours. second off, the reason i started following you is because someone, i forget who, posted on tumblr that i should. so indeed i did. and i am glad that i did! b/c your writing and art is beautiful. your blog is lovely <3

I can't believe I stumbled upon a Nerdfighter's blog :)

I first started reading your blog about a week ago, and was pleasantly surprised to see "Sparks Fly Up" as one of the blogs you like. I LOVE JOHN GREEN.

I also love J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. That is such a beautiful book. And so is The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. <3

I hope we can be friends as I am a Nerdfighter too! :)

Best Wishes!

Kai

I am so very very lucky :)

Also, Elliott Smith mends broken hearts and then breaks them again. Poor Elliott. He can't help it.

I hope you manage to unstick yourself if you would like to unstick yourself. xxx

you should use a darker shade on the dear diary-thing, because it's really nice and all but bearly unreadable, at least on my mac

and by the way, I love your biography log, it's very charming and beautiful and dreamy included on a list of very many other fine things
