I baked him a marble cake with cream cheese frosting, because I didn't
know his favorite. I covered it with pixie dust and how it flew! Peter and the Lost Boys ate well on his birthday, for they like any kind of cake.

I gave you a blog award. I hope you like it. http://thestorytellersdiary.blogspot.com/

Thanks a lot for your lovely and sweet blog.
I am also totally devoted to J.M. Barrie. I am currently translating his books into French, especially "The Little White Bird" which was issued for the first time in French in 2006. Soon, I will publish Margaret Ogilvy and Farewell Miss Julie Logan and the others afterwards.
My webiste: www.sirjmbarrie.com and I have had the same idea than you on May 9th:

:-)
Next year, I will celebrate his birthday in Kirriemuir.
His favorite cakes - to the best of my belief - were bannocks and shortbreads, of course !
In my house, I have a room of my own which is one of a kind : a little "Barrie museum" . For years, I have been travelling across Scotland and England to see the places where he lived and the ones he loved.
